Can someone please answer the following question about squid?
I am trying to find some type of software package that can disguise a user's
identity while traveling on the web, similar to the service provided by the
"anonymizer" at http://www.anonymizer.com, but running on my local computer.
Although the anonymizer works perfectly, it is much too slow because of many
users. If its functionality can be moved to a local computer, then I would have
a perfect solution. Can squid do this? If not, does anyone know of software
that can fulfill this function?
