I think this is a FAQ-able one by now (if not already). Squid has a setup
in squid.conf for icons (as part of ftpget). It can get the icons from
wherever you tell it to (using an external HTTP server e.g. apache).

Version 1.2 has an internal icon server, so no need for a separate HTTP
server for them
