        Yes there is but it requires code modification. Here at QUT we
have modified the code to do remote authentication. I believe a fellow
called Arjan deVet has been working on Radius authentication and a few
other good tid bits.

        His page is at http://www.iaehv.nl/users/devet/ there is a link to
his squid page. It is worth a look, he knows quite a bit about squid
authentication mechanisms.
