We are running squid 1.1.21 on RedHat5.0 and start squid with
RunCache. To tell squid to re-read its configuration file I use
squid -k reconfigure
But I get back "squid: ERROR: no running copy" even though its running
nicely serving requests!
And squid does not write a squid.pid file even though it is set up to do
so in squid.conf.
