A Netscape proxy autoconfiguration script may be exactly what you need
here. You can define a much more complicated ruleset with the
autoconfig script than you can by simply setting up the proxy in the
preferences dialog. Information on how to do this is in the Squid
FAQ, as well as on developer.netscape.com.
