ANN: URL Cacheability Checker

I'm pleased to announce the availability of an online scritp that checks a
URL fed to it for:

* Web server clock skew
* Expires and Cache-Control headers
* Last-Modified header (checking to see if it can be validated)
* Content-Length header
and other characteristics that affect caching.

With it, you can find out why an object is or is not cached.

The script works as a CGI or command-line utility. More information is
available at:
http://www.mnot.net/cacheability/

or you can jump straight to an online version at:
http://www.ircache.net/cgi-bin/cacheability.py
(thanks to Duane Wessels and IRCache for hosting)

If you have any problems, questions or suggestions, please contact me at
mnot@pobox.com (this address is my work address only).
