Hi!

I am using squid version 2.2.STABLE1 on RedHat 6.0.
My connection to the parent cahce is set up using:

  cache_peer proxy1.mel.connect.com.au parent 8080 3130
  cache_peer proxy2.mel.connect.com.au parent 8080 3130
  cache_peer proxy.syd.connect.com.au parent 8080 3130 no-query default

yet in my logs (using calamaris) I see no ICP:

  # Incoming UDP-requests by status: none

  # Incoming TCP-requests by status
  status request % kByte % sec kB/sec
  --------------------------------- -------- ------ --------- ------ ---- -------

Does ICP work hoizontal (ie amongst siblings) ONLY or does it work vertical
(ie parent <-> kid) relations ship as well.

Do I need to ring up my ISP to work it out with them:
   * ie do they need to include me in their setup (docs dont say that!)
   * hit them on their head ;-)) cause their squid isnt working?

Whats wrong?

Jobst
