Hello

When u use RunCache, u pass args to squid (nohup startup, for example).
RunCache is a shell script, used to start squid in a given state.

Using runcache, squid is started in "-sY" mode. -s for syslog logging, -Y
for "Only return UDP_HIT or UDP_MISS_NOFETCH during fast reload." (Cf squid -?)

Squid is a binary waiting form args. -z, -k and so on, are args

I don't exactly know the default squid's startup method ....

If you need more Infos on squid command line, type squid -? ou man squid
