Hotmail works just fine for me..... I'm running Squid-2.3.STABLE4 on RedHat
6.0 w/ 2.2.16 kernel on a Pentium-166 MHz w/ 128MB of RAM.

My Squid proxy server works well except for hotmail.com. It can not
