Sorry but this is not the same thing as user@host FTP proxying. What you
describe is non-anonymous access to FTP servers using a HTTP proxy,
while user@host FTP proxying is a access method for FTP proxies.

Entirely different things, but both relating to FTP of course and
confusingly similar terminology.
