[squid-users] R: [squid-users] Resolve Client Hostname

Hi,

I've try "log_fqdn on", but the log always show the IP address of clients in
to logfile.

this is my squid.conf:

cache_store_log /var/log/squid/store.log

cache_effective_user squid
cache_effective_group squid
visible_hostname ux-proxy

this is my resolv.conf:

search corporate

nameserver 10.0.0.130 #internal DNS
nameserver 194.20.8.1 #external DNS
nameserver 194.20.8.4 #external DNS

this is a example of the output of the logfile:

10.11.3.27 - - [14/Feb/2002:17:05:27 -0500] "GET http://freebsdhowtos.com
HTTP/1.1" 200 4800 TCP_MISS:DIRECT

Only the proxy can access to external DNS.

The internal DNS is a WinNT4Srv and the IP is assign by DHCP.
