Ok. Your log rotation cron job is logrotate, run once per week.
Review your configuration to make sure it is compatible with using the
logrotate external log rotation program. This involves
a) To turn off the rotation done by Squid (see squid.conf).
b) To make sure logrotate properly issues "squid -k rotate" when
rotating the logs under the feets of Squid.
