[squid-users] Squid logs

Hi Squid gurus,

Does anybody know why an ls -la in /var/log/squid on my RH7.2 gives the
following?

-rw-r--r-- 1 squid squid 24391 Apr 6 04:02 access.log.2.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 squid squid 468 Apr 21 14:12 cache.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 squid squid 2618 Apr 13 04:02 cache.log.1.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 squid squid 2648 Apr 6 04:02 cache.log.2.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 squid squid 0 Apr 13 04:02 store.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 squid squid 16661 Apr 13 04:02 store.log.1.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 squid squid 56076 Apr 6 04:02 store.log.2.gz

Why does access.log and store.log have a size of 0? I have tried to access
other pages to generate new entries in the log files however these two files
remain 0 bytes. However squid is working perfectly.
