refresh_pattern and no-cache are set to default. I was trying to show that
TCP_MISS happends on static web pages.

Here is what store.log shows:
918681785.048 RELEASE FFFFFFFF 304 918682167 -1 -1 unknown
-1/0 GET
http://squid.nlanr.net/Mail-Archive/squid-users/9902/archive/0156.html
918681789.172 RELEASE FFFFFFFF 304 918682171 -1 -1 unknown
-1/0 GET
http://squid.nlanr.net/Mail-Archive/squid-users/9902/archive/0156.html

Does RELEASE mean the object is being wiped from cache?
This is my first installation of squid, maybe https was
taken out of pre-release version on purpose? What's wrong with this
picture?
thanks again..
