i'm using RH 5.0 ...
i have installed and run squid-2.2...stable4...
it does start automatically at reboot coz' i've add some lines
in my rc.local file...{ ./usr/local/squid/bin/RunCache& % } ..last line...
but are there other good ways of starting it beautifully...
it looks like this...
Red Hat Linux release 5.0 (Hurricane)
Kernel 2.0.36 on an i586
proxy login: Running squid -sY >> /usr/local/squid/squid.out 2>&1
i want to run it after all the other daemons ... not after prompting me of
a login name...
